The gauge cluster lights do not light up. I checked the fuse and it is good. I pulled out the cluster and checked the bulbs they are good. I also pulled out the dimmer switch and hooked my multimeter to it and it has 12v on one end and gradually goes down as I turn the knob down to .033v so I assume that is working properly. If the cluster is bad how can I repair it? If its just somewhere I could re-solder a point to get it working again that would be cool!

Solved the problem -on of the fuses in the relay box under the hood was bad - Although it is not marked well - It says park and horn????

When you put the stereo in, what did you do with the red wire with a green stripe? The aftermarket radios don't always use these, so you have to wrap the ends, depending on whether or not you used a wiring harness. If that wire is shorted on the chassis, it will blow the dimmer fuse.

Play with the ignition switch,If you can disable the starter when the engine is running and can do it in a very safe manner, this way you can turn the ignition and check to see if a ignition electrical part is failing, If you cant disable the starter just be careful how you turn the ignition you are only ruling out the ignition switch electrical part as possible problem or even the solution
