Your problem sounds like the "cam fallower " it couples with the high pressure fuel pump and operates it accordingly via rideing the end cam lobe.
QUIT DRIVING THAT CAR IMIDIATLY CHANCES ARE IF IT'S TO THE POINT OF STALLING YOU WILL ALREADY NEED A NEW CAMSHAFT! Trust me I got my 06' gli back 4 days ago from 3zero3 motorsports , had a NEW cam installed, New hpfp, New cam fallower , and while there in there save yourself another trip and do the timing kit pullys and water pump included.
My car had exact same symptoms... If it throws codes for low fuel pressure, or improper pressure at rail , I gurentee that's your issue.
AGAIN STOP DRIVING IT BEFORE YOU TRASH MORE, JUST COST ME 2,546.00 TO FIX MINE!!!!
It is called an idle air control valve (IAC), and it will cause stalling at idle or while decelerating to a stop, but engine stall while driving at steady speeds, no that will not be the fault of the valve.
