Check to see if you are getting fuel to the engine, an easy way to do this is buy a can of spray starting fluid, while cranking the engine spray it into the air intake of the engine, if the engine starts and then dies you have a fuel delivery problem.
have u replaced the bulb? i believe some tail lights (all?) have 2 fillaments in bulb for tail light (running light) and using both for brake... blinker/ signal is a different bulb usually- that way u have running lights/ break lights at same time ur blinking.
check if any interior lights left on ,the trunk is the usual one that gets forgotten, have battery tested for charge holding and that the alternator is charging correct voltage the alarm and door locking are a symptom not the problem which is in the charging/battery
Do you have any other lights, such as door lights or head and tail lights? If not the first thing I would check is the battery cable terminals. Over time corrosion will build up on the inside of the terminal lugs and not make contact. Even if they look clean from the top, I would still take them off and give them a good cleaning with a wire brush.
The second thing I would do is try a jump start. This tells you a lot, whether it starts or not. If it starts, it tells you that the problem is in your battery or alternator or starter relay or even a fuse. If it doesn't start, then it is probably something with the engine keeping the starter lugged down.
check your brake pressure switch, might find it on the master cylinder, my caddilac did that, so i wiggled the wire and it stopped so i replaced the part , good as new now.
This is all under warranty get it checked it may be somethhing else. Caddilac warranty should be 3200 miles or 3 yrs by production date on inside driver door
