1994 mazda 929 rough idle & stalling

Car sat for a few years......replaced fuel pump and cleaned fuel tank to a degree........drove it to replace dry rotted tires and the bucking and jumping started. Added seafoam and gas to tank to remedy problem to no avail. Removed fuel pump and checked for blockage, removed intake manifold to access fuel rail. Removed it and checked each injector for proper spray pattern, including the 7th injector. Blew compressed air thru fuel circuit and replaced fuel filter. Fixed leak at air intake trunk to throttle body. Car runs no different after above checks. Advice needed to access codes from weird diagnostic port(can't find a scanner to fit it).

I have 84 caddy with a 4.1l. When it starts it idles fine for about 15 seconds but then starts to run rough then it stalls out. Sets codes 15 and 38. Then I clear them and sets code 32

You have a fuel delivery problem. Replace the fuel filter, check pressure at the fuel rail and replace the fuel pressure regulator and/or fuel pump as necessary. If you have used ethanol blend fuel and the car sat for more than a few days, your fuel tank may have rusted out, clogging the pickup strainer and possibly clogging fuel injectors. Good place to start is by replacing ALL FUEL, using ethanol-free fuel (if available), then proceed with troubleshooting the fuel system.

Do you have a "Check Engine" light?

Check the coils in each cylinder. At 140k the valve cover gaskets tend to break and oil will fill the coils causing misfires and stalling.

If tank got no drain plug either remove fuel sender/pump from top of tank & pump out & clean with rag on a wire (long & tedious) or remove tank & do the same

1994 Chev Astro 4.3L AWD "W" OBD Code 43 168K Miles

code 43, i would expect with running rough but that's not the cause , its a result ,if the system detects noise (knock) it will try to compensate by retarding the timing to save the motor , built in self preservation , i hope your not running on 2 year old gas , i'd be amazed its even running at all , gas varnishes up bad enough in 6 months to 1 year , i suggest getting some fuel additive in there to stabilize and clean the fuel system , or have it drained and start over with fresh gas and go from there . cheers .

Sounds like the ECU is struggling to maintain a constant speed when the throttle is open on cretain spots. Does this vehicle have a TPS (throttle position sensor)? If it does then it probably needs to be put on a scope and properly adjusted for continuity. Or could be that some other factory settings have been tampered with on some smog components. Either case, its most likely your air/fuel ratio.
