Where is and how do you replace the crankshaft position senser

3.1 vin T
3x sensor firewall side of engine above oil pan between transmission
24x sensor behind crank pulley/ balancer

I may need your vin? Look on the backside of engine block, down low. May have to get under vehicle. Two wire connector, purple and yellow.

If not there, check down by crankshaft pulley.

the 2 most common problem for this is # 1 crankshaft position sensor , will cause engine to lose fire.
# 2 fuel pump ,, no fuel pressure.

Are there any lights on the dash when this happens? When you put key in and try to crank it over, does the securty light come on?

Replace the senser. cheaper to buy on line.

could be all kinds of tyhings check out a autozone and have them hook up obd reader to it and see what codes it shoiws up

Try replacing the throttle position sensor. I had the same problem in my truck. It would start and run for a bit but as soon as you let off of the pedal, it would die. Try it and see if it works.

No spark issue can be from a number of causes. Most likely the crankshaft position sensor. It is sensitive to minor damages. check position of the teeth. If bent carefully straighten. Also can be the ECM (main computer) On cars with no fuel pressure check oil sending unit because a faulty one that tells no oil pressure will make computer cut out fuel pump operation.
