I can't figure out how to replace cabin air filter
I found a chrysler blog. Pull back carpet on passenger foot well, remove white styrofoam computer protector. Remove cardboard cover (remove two screws) from bottom of glove box. On Left side see a slot with plastic cover and two sliding latches. Open and remove and replace filter. Follow reverse to finish up. It is tight fit and hard to get to for normal sized man.
I used Randyvs instructions (see above) to finally figure out to replace the air/cabin filter on my 2005 Crossfires. The filter is located behind the glove compartment. It is a little tight if you can picture yourself on your back facing upwards underneath the area just behind the glove compartment you will see a black plastic panel. Just remove that panel (2 screws hold it), and LOOK CLOSELY (it's dark there) for a long black plastic cover (the length of the bottom of the actual filter- about 6/7 inches long and 2 inches wide. If you look closely, there will be 2 tabs (yellow with age). Just slide outward (if I can recall or inward- they keep the cover in place) and the cover will drop. Remove the old cabin air filter (pay attention to how its set in there) with leaves and stuff on it (mine did), wipe the immediate area clean, slide in the new filter (show stay in place), put back the long cover, slides the tabs back, then put back the black plastic cover and put back the 2 screws. Simple!! You dont have to pull back the rug and styrofoam cover on the baseboard- no need to!
