My Dodge lights in dashboard are dim. Mechanic asked me to re-charge the battery, I connected the charger for 2 days to re-charge, the lights are still dim. The illumination contol switch is set to full bright light. The battery seems OK and there is no problem starting the caravan. If someone has solution, pls help.
Something wrong with your car lead to the dashboard light are dim,
you can get a car diagnostic tool to check your car.
this tool can do your car, a little expensive.

you should have 14.5 +/- with the AC on you might have a week regulator or week brushes in the Altenator . but not enough at this time to cause a no start . but do have the alt tested (Load tested) at a parts store .

Sir I can help you with this, I have all the service manuals on your truck and will provide anything you need, but this honestly sounds like a bad wire connection or ground on a primary battery cable. I would trace all my battery cables and clean every connection even the engine ground cable and the one at your starter. I will be glad to help you further, I can post step by step trouble shooting guides on your truck if you need them. Hope this helps.

No preferences as to charger, as long as it has trickle charge option (slower, but better for battery). Would like to see battery load test done by parts store to see battery condition, but a simple charge may be it. Let me know how it goes, hopefully you will have it up and running soon.
