I would suggest you spice the wires back to stock harness by male and female connections and tape over them with black tape then get a stereo install kit that includes a wiring harness ( cost about $20 maybe or less) for the year of truck you have... it will plug right to your stock harness ...never just cut stock stereo wires from stock plug it will be more of a headache than you think trust me I've installed all my own stereo system been there done that... good luck
Go to a GMC dealer, ask a salesman to get your owners manual out and read you the instructions. If you can't read them yourself, then reprinting them here makes no sense.
there will be different clocks and ways to set them based on your interior trim package, i have consulted an oracle but cannot divine which package you have. so you will have to do it the way everyone else does by reading your owners manual.
. U can get a free owner manual @ :gm.com/gmownercenter/gmc/ I'm amazed at how many people throw out their manual--not fair to future owners! (you), there's lots of great info in it. Let me know if u have any trouble finding it. Good luck w the new vehicle.
31 sounds about right for a sierra and the clock settings are in the menu. Hit menu then you have a small round knob to advance the hour or you have two small buttons in the lower right hand corner of the radio.
on my 2003 stock am/fm radio there is no set button for the clock how do you set it ?it is just a plain am/fm stock radio
