Have you checked fuses/relays, if they are ok check at the top of peddle under dash to make sure the brake light switch hasn't come loose or needs adjusting. hope this helps and if you need any more assistance just ask

my 05 has 3 nuts that hold the taillight assembly onto the car. in the trunk, pull the matting back, my be some snaps holding or cargo hooks. unscrew or pull, then take the 3 nuts off and entire tail light assembly should come off. Then twist out the correct but connector.
