SOURCE: car shaking and service engine light blinking

Hi Habitsi1982,
make sure that it's firing on all cylinders....Has any one played around with the firing order of the spark plugs?....I'm not sure what vehicle it is that you have.....If the engine check light comes on, the onboard management computer has picked up a fault....take the vehicle for a diagnostic scan and that will tell you very quickly what the problem really is.

SOURCE: Engine sputtering

I would change your fuel filter, if that doesn't do it check your fuel pressure with a gauge at your schrader this is a pretty simple test if you are not getting enough pressure, then test your fuel pressure regulator, if it's bad replace it. if it's good got to your fuel pump, I am assuming you don't have or even know what a DSO is, so if you traced it to a fuel pump, take it to an auto technican and ask them to do a fuel current ramping test and this will tell you your fuel pump rpm's most of todays properly operating fuel pumps spin from at least 4000 rpm to 6500 rpm. happy motoring!

My skoda superb has engine light on in dashboard and the glow plugs light flashing sometimes with lose of power.can you help my with a good answer

On the skoda the coil lights flashing indicate a engine fault , normaly it will be a fuel fault something as little as fuel filter issue or could be boost fault , split vac pipe or intercooler pipe , easyest way to get to the fault is by putting it on a computer to get the fault code that put the light on , the loss of power will be the ecu putting the car in to limp home mode
