No power at all. Only head lights work

If you jump battery positive to solenoid terminal s the starter should kick in and crank, if not run a separate ground from battery negative to solenoid base if nothing changes check the neutral safety switch with a test light (not a voltmeter). I hope this helps. Take Care.

The head light switch sounds suspect

Is getting ready to jump time to the point where it will bend valves .i have personally repaired many of these.everyone has same problem

New motor or head work

sounds like a blown head gasket letting coolant get injected into the engine and getting burned with the fuel. a head gasket replacement should help

I had the same problem with my '87 Buick LeSabre 2 years ago. But it didn't seem to fit right, the car was running fine up until it just didn't. I had 3 professional mechanics swear it was a blown head gasket. I researched thoroughly and found out this particular engine make has a DEFECTIVE upper intake manifold which can break down and cause coolant to leak into oil, simulating a blown head gasket. The NHTSA had issued a recal on SEVERAL GM cars with this engine, EXCEPT for the '97. I filed a complaint with the ODI and as of today it is now COVERED as a "Defect & Recall". NHTSA ID number 96V116000. This MAY be your problem if it is NOT the "usual" blown head gasket. Hope this helps.

is any code. that would a start to where to start
looking for some fix

First of all if the car will start without the clutch depressed then you have a bad clutch safety switch which may lead to light malfunction, but highly unlikely. You may also have a bad reverse/neutral safety switch which is generally on the side of the transmission. GOOD LUCK!!!

the tilt motor broke and it sucks because you can not adjust it manually , mazda sucks big time on Millenia .

Ther are only two things that cause this, one is loss of fuel pressure, i.e. defective fuel pump or fuel pump circuit, #2 is loss of spark, this could be a defective ignition module or crank shaft position sensor, do you have any trouble codes, or have you tested that?
