What type of antifreeze should i use

I myself as a mechanic, prefer Prestone freeze. You can get it almost anywhere. AT for example K-mart it runs about 12 bucks. It is 50/50 mixture, which means you do not have to add water, it is already ready to poor and diluted to right mixture. However, at auto parts stores like Auto Zone, they also have a tester to check the strength level of it. You want to make sure that the mixture or ration of water to antifreeze is correct, for a couple reasons. If it not proper mixture of water and antifreeze, could cause break down of internal parts, which could over time, cause damage to radiator, hoses, thermostat etc.... So, best thing to do, after adding or before adding any antifreeze have it tested with a cheap tester they sell, and they can explain to you what the ratio should be for your car and size of radiator. I hope this helps. Mike

To add 134a, which of three wires on the pressure switch should I jump to get the compressor to run to add freon?

you don't need to jump the wires. even if the compressor clutch is not turning add the refrigerant to the low side port, it will go in through its own pressure when a safe level for the compressor to run has been reached the clutch will engage. at first the clutch will spin a second or two and stop and then begin again, from there continue adding refrigerant the clutch should spin continuously. if the clutch fails to ever engage the compressor is bad or there is a wiring problem.

Where do I add coolent to a pacifica?

Under the hood you will find a plastic coolant surge tank, it has a regular radiator cap on it, coolant is added there, the tank is pressurized and coolant can cause severe burns, so never open on with hot engine use 50/50 mix of coolant or premixed. The coolant surge tank is located behind the battery next to the strut tower at the firewall. There is a picture on page 320 0f the owners manual.

What is the correct antifreeze type for a 2006 chrysler pacifica

The "CORRECT" antifreeze is HOAT which stands for "hybrid organic additive technology" and is only available at Chrysler dealers and costs over $20 a gallon. But if you buy the kind that says"add to any color antifreeze" it is ok....I have added it to mine with no problems.....watch the labels though, some say they can be used to "replace" any fluid but require a complete system flush.....it took me about three days of fretting and researching to find some stuff that would be ok to add. hope this helps.
