Go to vwvortex.com forums. It may be a cable adjustment problem

SOURCE: 2006 Jetta TDI Tiptronic Maintenance

The tiptronic is not the DSG - two separate transmissions. You don't need to service the tiptronic every 40k like you do the DSG.
VW considers the fluid in a Tiptronic tranny as "lifetime" fluid - it doesn't need to be changed.

SOURCE: 2007 Jetta 2.5L: how to change oil filter

Usually with draining the oil filters you just screw it off and the oil will drain. It can sometimes be messy but thry to keep your arm out of the way and have the oil pan at the bottom. If some gets on the engine or header pick up some break clean and spray off the remaining oil that made a mess and it should come all clean like you didn't even spill any oil!

Good Luck!

SOURCE: 01 VW Jetta Vibration Problem

Check the motor mounts. They might be worn or loose which can cause vibration felt when the engine is reved up or running at higher rpms than at idle.

SOURCE: no reverse gear

This question should be deleted. Aside from the obvious illiteration, there is nothing in the known universe that could be stuck in an oil filter that could cause the transmission to fail, nor could the oil pressure. What most likely happened is someone did a neutral drop and blew a solenoid in the transmission. Rebuild/replace transmission, or drive without it.

You got a lemon. Most likely one of the coils is giving out if your model has two or a connector may be loose somewhere. You'll have to get it checked out.

20001 vw jetta tdi automatic transmission problem

Ok , so you got home , parked it and when you started it up the next day and shifted it into reverse... backed out... and went to shift into drive , it stayed in reverse ?
Have you checked to see that the cable has not disjoined itself from the shifter to the trans.?
Are you able to engage Park?

My 2000 Sable won't move though gear selector appears to be in tack. Was making a left turn heard a loud pop on the right front side of the car then what appeared to be a rubbing or scraping noise...

the problem has to be in the linkage inside the transmission which means that you have to take into a mechanic to have them fix this because if you do not know how to take the transmission apart yourself is the reason why to take it to the nearest mechanic. Sorry

I recently change my 2000 honda passport tanny and is not working forward i tried D 3 2 and L but only reverse is working

You need to check the level of automatic transmission fluid in it. If there's not enough fluid, then the transmission won't go into gear because not enough pressure is built up.

1990 Ford Probe 2.2 automatic stalls in forward, reverse OK

Sounds like a bad IAC (idle air control valve/sensor) that controls your idle when going from throttle to idle. If bad your idle will act crazy and can cause stalls easily. Pretty sure that's it.
