How to instal a rear bearing on a saturn veu 2002?auto repair

This would be a bolt on hub and bearing assembly. You will remove the wheel and the brake rotor or drum. Then unplug the abs sensor if equipped. Remove the axle nut if it's an all wheel drive (it is important to tighten the axle nut to the proper spec after replacing the bearing. Failure to properly torques the bearing will result in premature bearing failure). Remove the four bolts that hold the hub to the knuckle. Rmove the hub/bearing assembly.

1996 Jaguar XJ6 - seeking toque spec for front hub bearing?

They are taper roller bearings, when new something like 8 or 10 pound feet, used ones tigten until only a little play exists (if you have steel wheels leave the wheel on and it is easy to feel the play even if packed with fresh grease) If you overtighten they will growl and overheat and fail
