First get in the car turn on ignition sit in the seat next to the window that does not close .close door press window switch down until window is all the way down hold your finger on the switch all the time and hold it there for 10-15 sec after the window is down then do the same but with the window going up this will reprogram the window so it knows where it is.for this fault to happen the power to the window has become disconnected, replaced battery with door open is the useual one. good luck.
The battery may be getting poor. when the voltage drops lower than 9.00 volts the modules loose there memory and you have to keep resetting things, if the battery is ok the power supplies and grounds need checking, and if the charging system is ok. i think its your battery.
I would say you have a short or wire that came off the window motor and its making contact with the handle connecting the the circuit when you move handle causing to window to work. Remove the door panel and inspect the wiring that goes to window motor. At motor and all the way to where wires run out of door ( by door hinges) and see if you can visually see a bare wire touching around handle or a loose wire. Let me know what you see and find
If it does this every few days, then you may have a battery that is getting old and weak. The voltage drops when the starter tuns the engine over and the module forgets the window programming. Or the module is going bad or you have a bad electrical connection or ground.
I tried that and it worked for a few days and then the same problem happened again, also when you lock the car it locks but there is no sound to tell you this has happened
