Common problem with these clocks. you must replace the clock. my 98 crv does the same thing. i havent taken the clock apart yet but i think its a bad connection on the clock circut board. they share the fuse with the radio and or acc plug. i think they are around $225?

The clock doesnt work. it doesnt light up. how can i fix it?

Sounds like your clock is dying. This is typically an issue with the clock itself. This is very common with many Subarus, CR-Vs, Pathfinders, 4runners, etc. The good news is that it can be repaired for a reasonable rate, and a lifetime guarantee. Check out www.autoclockrepair.com

A fuse box will be in one of the following places depending on car and model:

  • Part of the lower dash (near knees) (driver or passenger)

  • The kick panel right beside the door (driver or passenger)

Clock does not work. crv 1998

If it is not the fuse then it is most likely an internal issue with the clock itself. These clocks (and many other models) commonly burn out internally. I offer a very cost effective repair solution. Check it out!
