Had some work done, coil pacs changed, fuel filter, plugs plug wires, antifreeze was drained then re-added. Heater doesn't work. Driver side blows barely warm air passenger side blows cold. All Local garages are stumped. We were told by a mechanic in TN that the line had to be bled. The car had to be elevated in the front end and run for about 45 min and a line bled? I Cannot afford Jaguar as this car was a gift from my husband who recently passed away from brain cancer...medical bills have taken over. It's 18 degrees need heat ! Thank you for any and all suggestions. Have a local mechanic that is trying.

i have 2000 jaguar s type heater will not get hot. i don't know what the problem is. can someone help me.
I have a 1998 XJ8 Vandenplas. My heater did not work too well last hear and now doesn't work at all. The coolant level and temp is OK and the fan is OK.
I have heard that the Jaguar has had this problem and that the electronic heater control is the problem?
What could be the problem?
2000 stype. Had a coolant hose bust and leaked a lot of the antifreeze out. Fixed hose and refilled system but heat doesnt work.
