-Not the spark plug that you just replaced.
-It could be bad crank, Cam., broken timing belt, bad ignition module or blown fuses.
-Check it out.

Good luck

SOURCE: fuel like issue; nissan sunny (sentra) b14

First from the fuel tank in side the fuel tank there is filter remove the screws on the top where the fuel gauge fitted when you remove gauge you can see fillter that is one sometimes blocked.

Next if you check fuel filter it is ok, but nissan sunny has fuel filter inside the caburator where fitted fuel pipe from the fillter clean that filler.

ather thiing is check your connections any leak or loose.

SOURCE: Nissan Maxima 1996 wont start

There was a common issue on these vehicles involving the ground from the transmission. The negative battery cable bolts to the transmission. Over time the mating surface of the trans to the engine will corrode causing a voltage drop between the engine and trans. This throws off the 180 signal from the crank sensor and the car will do exaclty what you are describing. The absolute best fix for this is to remove the trans, clean the mating surface on the engine block and the trans, chase the trans mounting bolt threads in the engine block and bolts, apply some dielectric grease to the mounting surfaces and reinstall transmission. I know this is a big job, but many have tried to short cut it with no better results.

SOURCE: 1997 nissan sentra keeps dying

Check distributor and fuel, when car dies check for what is missing when it won't start back up. It can be only gas or spark and trust me one is missing. Good Luck

SOURCE: 2004 1.8l nissan sentra what now? not battery or fuel pump/filter

Check your catalytic converter. If you are over 80k miles, these devices will wear in stages. The first stage of wear is slower gear change at cruising speeds when approaching any type of incline. Second stage is the engine light will reveal a faulty oxygen sensor. Because the converter is basically a "filter" built into the exhaust system, it wears by slowly clogging, which leads to no starts, no power, and sometimes a blown head gasket. If your mechanic removed the oxygen sensor before the converter, theres a strong chance it would start right up.

HAD 2001 OLDS ALERO COMPUTOR CHECK SAID # 2 CYLINDER WAS MISSFIRING CHANGED #2COIL PACK STILL DIES WHEN SLOWING DOWN OR STOPING BUT STARTS RIGHT BACK UP DIES WHEN STOPPING OR SLOWING DOWN ALSO DIES AFTER...

Sounds like #2 is still missing. Misfires can be caused by an ignition problem, a fuel problem, or a mechanical problem where there is no compression in the cylinder.
Okay, you have changed the coil. Now try changing spark plugs and the spark plug wire-Swap #2 and #1 spark plugs and the plug wire too, and see if misfire follows now on #1. If it does, bad plug or bad plug wire. Of course you could just drop a new plug into #2 and see what happens. If no change, swap the plug wires and test again. If still misfiring, check the spark at end of plug wire-you need to see a blue snapping spark to know the ignition is working good on that #2.
If you have spark there, need to check if the injector is pulsing and spraying fuel into the cylinder. You might be able to feel the injector pulse if you hold a finger lightly on the injector while engine is running-should be a steady, rather rapid click feel to the injector. If not sure, have the injector circuit checked. You can buy an inexpensive "noid light" at auto parts stores, one that fits your injector circuit, plug it into #2 injector, and crank the car over or run the engine and watch the light-if working, the noid light will be blinking. This verifies the circuit is good. If the spark plug is wet with gas when pulled out, that would verify that injector is spraying fuel into the cylinder.
If still no help, have the compression checked in #2. Low compression from a valve problem or head gasket problem can cause misfires.
Good luck.

Suzuki wagon r+gl check engine light keeps flashing and wont start after battery change

the engine (there are more than one engine)
has a distributor.
"have spark at coil down to dizzy but no spark at plugs"
this can mean only 2 things.
1: spark wires are dead. all 4, kinda hard to believe huh?
2: the dizzy is way off time. so time the dizzy and now spark
lands on each wire term.
if not a dizzy engine, post exact version of engine and country.

My 98 Cavalier was runnning great all the sudden every now and again it takes a couple turns to start, so i took it to Auto zone, they ran a test said everything looked good, and that I should change spark...

My guess would be two of the plug wires are on the wrong plugs.
The original problem could be a faulty fuel pump relay or the check valve in the fuel pump.

I know I need a head gasket replace but why wont it stat

No spark is caused first by crank sensor. this sends a signal to the module and coil packs to plug wires. Sensor may be fualty. It will cause car to act the way yours did.

No spark to the spark plugs

First thing to do is change the cap and the rotor in the distributor. They can cause the car to just die like tha tbecause the rotor can burn through or the carbon button in the cap can wear away. Both these can cause the spark to go directly to ground. The ignition module or pickup in the distributor could also be the cause.Very common failure items in older GM's.

Can my spark plugs cause my car not to start if i need to change them?

You say the car sounds like it wants to start--does the engine crank when u turn the key? If the engine cranks (engine turns over is the same thing), then it's not the starter. so, if the engine is cranking over, u must check to see if you have spark at the spark plugs. It is possible for the car not to start because of bad spark plugs. How many miles since they were changed? Pull a couple out and inspect them to see if they need to be replaced. 1st thing to do is see if u have spark at plugs, then check to see if gas is getting to the plugs.
