I have a 1990 Honda Accord. When I apply the brakes, I hear a thump-thump-thump noise. As the car slows down, the thumping slows down. The noise seems to be coming from the front of the car. I checked the front disc brakes, and the pads and discs look fine. Could the thumping be related to weak CV joints or some other suspension problem?

Abucanear, I believe you are right that it is the CV axle because I eliminated all the other possible causes of that noise. Is it difficult to replace the cv axles?
When braking right front tire seems to be bumping brakes seem to be working fine only when slowing down
