I have a 2002 saturn sl that was stolen ignition switch is tampered and security light is on I never had a key with security how do I bypass security light

Its just about impossible to bypass. You would need a key that matches the old key chip cut to the new tumblers. Each key has a chip in it that the computer looks for.

It is impossible. Your car has an antitheft system on it. Without the chip key or transponder key, your car will go into antitheft mode and disable the starter or injectors. Or both.

YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE IGNITION SWITCH. CAN USE GRAPHIET IN KEY THEN PUT INTO IGNITION THS WILL BUY YOU SOME TIME BUT ULTIMETLY YOU WILL NEED TO REPLACE IT

You know I just had a chevy dealer tell me they could replace the lock cylinder and ignition switch in my girlfriend's 99SW for 88 dollars in half a day. 3 months later they had changed the lock cylinder and it cost 155 dollars. they had to send it out to saturn to get the keys to match, and they told me that the steering column would have to come out in order to replace the switch as it is put in with tamper proof hardware which needs to be drilled out. as yet it is not done.

Try to start the leve key on for 10 min, turn off (wait 10 sec) then try to start again and leve on for 10 min again, turn off and try again wait 10 min, turn off for 30 sec and then start engine.
