The brake light fuse for this 1992 Lincoln continental is located in the fuse box located on the driver side of the dash.You will need to look under the dash on driver side. i have enclosed a picture diagram of the fuse box and i have circled the brake light fuse.This fuse is in slot location # 1 and uses a 15 amp fuse. hope this is helpful. any other problems let me know, good day.Whetes the brake light fuse on 92 lincoln - 4_29_2012_9_00_43_pm.gif

SOURCE: lincoln ls back brake lights dont work

If you have the owners manual for this car look in the index for fuses. This will give you specific location of which fuse protects the brake light. Fuse block is typically located under the drivers side dash, near the floor. Have you changed the bulbs?

SOURCE: I have a 92 lincoln town car and my dash lights or tailights dont work, they dont work when I step on the brakes either. My blinkers, headlights, and hazards still work but not the brake lights...What

no tails is switch ,,, no brakes is switch ,, i think ,,,, but you need to trace it using a test light

Brake lights blows fuses

Please check the brake light wiring there must be somewhere where the live wire is touching the body (earth -) and thus the blowing of the fuses.
Since the plug in had melted so must have the wires insulation top melted somewhere and its now shorting.
