Hi, the stereo is held in by 4 spring clips. You have to insert steel wires in the 4 holes about 3/4 to 1 inch deep and pry them outward slightly as you pull the stereo out. They sell U-shaped wires at auto parts stores for this purpose but you can make them by cutting up a coat hanger. Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

there is no seperate fuse box for the stereo. you have two fuse boxes one under the hood and one inside the car to the left of the steering column. your owners manual should tell you which number fuse controls the radio. is there anything else that is not working? The same fuse may control it,

you need to determine if the car had a theft device from the factory built in that included the factory radio,check the owners manual to see.

You need to take it to a radio thec and have thenm recode it or the stereo is not for that modiel

Sounds like the cd player motor is bad probably cheaper and easier to replace stereo
