Front Climate Control Blower malfunctioning

The front climate control blower on my 2005 Yukon Denali has a mind of it's own! Sometimes it will blow air out the vents, defrost, etc. but most often, only blows a tiny amount of air out, even when on "full force". As I am driving down the road, it will randomly start to blow at the force I have it set on. When I turn my car off, I can hear the blower/fan motor still on, but nothing is coming out of the vents. This occured for about 2 weeks, until my battery went dead. So, I removed the fuse until I could fix it. Any ideas?

Does your vehicle have manual or automatic climate control ? The blower motor control processor may be the problem .

SOURCE: climate control 04 yukon denali

I would try resetting both sides. i.e., Set both sides to hot, then back down to cool. Also check your fuse. I am not sure, but would think, you have a fuse for all these different items. It is time consumming, but look through and find your blown fuse. Hope it helps.

SOURCE: climate control 04 yukon denali

Removing the fuse for a few minutes and turning the controls on both driver side and passenger side to the highest setting and then turning them down slowly until the system started cooling has worked for me. Thanks for the suggestions---saved me $2500.00 on a useless dealer estimate to fix problem. These dealers are dangerous---they were the ones that caused my problem when they unhooked the battery while replacing my ignition switch.

This is a good forum.

SOURCE: 2004 Yukon Denali

This is from the A/C Module located under the dash passenger side, check wether the internal fan is working if it is, then change the Module which is a small black part with two white metal blades like... and your A/C should work again...

SOURCE: 2006 Yukon Denali, oil pressure gauge malfunction

Most likely the oil pressure sensor is bad. Its located in the very rear of engine on top of bell housing area.

Rear climate control not working

The blower and HVAC unit should be in the passenger side quarter panel. If the blower does not have power check the module next to it.

Climate control not working

I had the same problem on my 2004 GMC Yukon XL.
Still under warranty the shop was able to reprogram the climate control system and tell what was wrong rather quickly with a OBD computer.
That’s when they found both of the climate control (driver and passenger) side actuators were bad and the control unit that tells the actuators where they should be was also bad.
The truck was in the shop with most all the dash, seats, consol, and steering wheel out for a week. The cost was over $1200.00.
That has seamed to fix the problem. Good Luck.
