Main bearing torque is 56-62 Ft/Lbs..I would use 60
Rod bearing torque is 23-28 Ft/Lbs..I would use 25

SOURCE: Needing engine bolt torque specifications for a

stage 1 tighten to 30 ft pounds
stage 2 tighten 90 degrees
stage 3 loosen one full turn
stage 4 tighten to 30 ft pounds
stage 5 tighten 90 degrees
stage 6 tighten 90 degrees
this is per mitchell on demand courtesy of ford specs on the lft and right head.
for some reason there are no torque specs on mitchell for connecting rods and mains.

  1. Install the main bearing cap bolts and the cross-mounted main bearing cap bolts.
  1. Tighten all of the main bearing cap bolts in two stages.

    Stage 1: Tighten the vertical fasteners 1 through 10 to 37-43 Nm (27-32 lb/ft). Rotate fasteners 1 through 10, 85-95 degrees.

    Stage 2: Tighten the cross-mounted fasteners 11 through 20 to 27-33 Nm (20-24 lb/ft). Rotate fasteners 11 through 20, 85-95 degrees.

if you have a rebuild kit. the specs are listed in the instructions.. if not call the parts store with engine info and they can tell you...

I show the main bearing torque to be 70 ft.lbs.
The rod caps are torqued to 38 ft.lbs.

CRANK SHAFT PULLEY BOLT TORQUE IS 83 FT LBS. MAIN BEARINGS TORQUE IS 48 FT LBS ROD BEARINGS TORQUE 23 FT LBS. YOU NEED A BEARING SEQUENCE GET PIECE OF PAPER WRITE NUMBERS 9 5 1 3 7 AND UNDER THIS NUMBER LINE NUMBERS UP ON EACH OTHER WRITE DOWN NUMBERS 8 6 2 4 10 YOU HAVE 10 CRANKSHAFT MAIN BEARING BOLTS. WHEN YOU LINE UP BOTH NUMBERS YOU WILL START TIGHTEN BOLTS 1 AND 2 TIGHTEN BOLTS 3 AND 4 TIGHTEN BOLTS 5 AND 6 TIGHTEN BOLTS 7 AND 8 TIGHTEN BOLTS 9 AND 10 YOU ARE TIGHTEN BOLTS IN A CRISS CROSS PATTERN.
