Sounds like a fuel problem. Could also be plugs fouled out. Try running some injector cleaner though it, or even hooking up a trouble shooting tester on it. I invested in one for my vehicle. They don't cost too much. It really sounds like fuel is not getting through the injectors.

My jeep had trouble startng but eventually did and ran great. Then just cranked and didnt start. Replaced starter. That didn't work. Replaced crank sensor, that solved the no start problem for a week. Now...

The first thing to check is the fuelpump preasure, make sure the compressor is pumping enough preasure, these are famous for fuel pumps going bad.try sparying starting fluid into throtle and see if it starts, this will tell you its a fuel problem.

Liberty will not turn over

Doesn't that jeep have an on board anti theft system that shuts of power to the startee and the fuel injectors. Im pretty sure it does thats where to start sometimes just turn the key to the on position for 30 sec. To 60 sec then crank the engine if that doesnt work turn off at least 10 sec try again tirn to on position without cranking motor for at least 30 sec then try cranking

My 1996 jeep grand cherokee has trouble starting

Likely your fuel pump has failed or the filter is extremely dirty...Do a pressure test before replacing...pump is about $200. other problem could be from broken or disconnected vacuum line , bad control or bad vacuum servo motor for a blend door for the heater/.A/C.

No spark/wont start

i have a 98 and it has a distributor but it could be a fuel issue more than a spark if you have a fuel pressure gauge and check it.should be above 30 psi to me it sounds like a fuel pump thats bad

1994 Jeep Cherokee ignition problem

might check the crank sensor. it is located on the transmission bellhousing on top just off to the drivers side. if the pcm loses this signal the vehicle will die immediately and not restart until it sees the signal again
