Thanks for choosing FixYa. Have you checked your starter wires? Sounds like it may be loose. The bump could have knocked something loose. Do you still have power?

2007 ford edge wont start 52 k miles turns over but not starting. pulled up at store no problems went to leave and just wont start

Most of the time, this is caused by a safety switch called an Inertia switch. These are usually located behind one of the front floor kickpanels. The part has a reset button on it. You can go to the Web and search your specific model and year for the location and even photos of the inertia switch. It is suppose to disconnect the power from the fuel pump in the event your car gets bumped. Sometimes slamming a door will set it off.

Ford taurus SE 2007 model wont start after bumped to barrier

Open the trunk of your car. And on the left side close to the hinge that holds your trunk lid open there will be a small round opening. Look inside the opening and you will find a red button. Push in to reset. This is called the inertia switch. Which was designed to cut off your gas source to your vehicle in a collision. If you do not find it there refer to your owners manual. Once it starts , if it cuts out again easily replace the switch. It can be a headache if you just keep resetting it...

Audi a6 cut out it turns over but wont start

It sounds like the throttle body position sensor has gone out on you. If you look at the throttle body you will see a small sensor off to one side that has an electrical connector. Ensure it is plugged in. If it is then you may want to replace it. It is quite a simple repair.

MY AUDI A6 QUATTRO KEEPS LOOSING FUEL PRESURE THEN IT WILL CUT OUT AND WONT RESTART FOR AT LEAST AN HOUR. DOES TH FUEL PUMP RUN OFF A RELAY? IF SO WHERE IS IT ? I CAN FEEL THE PUMP RUNING AN THE INITIAL...

have you tried replacing the Fuel filter, your pump wont cut back in if there is pressure at the pump, the filter on my A8 is just under the rear Right hand sill in front of wheel arch, it has a plastic/fibre cover hiding it, otherwise just follow the fuel line from the pump ,otherwise it may be the fuel pump relay heating up and breaking contact, try to have a diagnostic done,my relays are under the passengers feet , if you intend keeping the car get yourself a workshop manual from bentley publishers, its worth gold in the long run , what does the A6 have normal coil ignition or a ignition coil for each plug, if so that may be your answer,a diagnostics check will tell you

Change fuel filter on a 01 a6 and car wont start

Loosen the line on the filter going to the engine. It maybe has an air lock in the line. Cracking it open will releive the air & then the gas will flow out.

Diesel Fuel not getting through system on Audi A6 (99)

It sounds like the speed bump hit and pinched off the fuel inlet line. You'll have to check the line more closely cut out the bad section and repair it with compression fittings.
