2003 GMC Pickup died while driving on highway.

Lights work, battery OK (tried jump starting with no results), but won't turn over when key turned----just clicks. Was low on gas but adding gas did not solve the problem.

while either driving or idling engine dies without warning. Unable to start for several minutes. No spark at first, after a few minutes I get spark and engine starts as if nothing happened. Engine runs fine after it starts, it has happened several time about once a week every 6-8 days like almost clock work. Replaced battery, alternator, starter, ignition coil, distributor cap/rotor, plugs and wires and checked electrical wiring. Still continues. Engine dies without warning, no engine light or warning. Unable to restart. Even when jumped. Fuel okay, good spray pattern, no backfire or hesitation noticed

I get a vibration / noise when making turns. I just drove 900+ miles on a trip and noticed problems when turning into gas stations and today while turning into a parking garage. It feels like the vehicles is starting to jump when making sharper turns and seems to be losing power. No issues while driving on the highway.

Sounds like your battery is shorted out, you need to replace the battery. If it is shorted, it will not start because the computer is not getting the right voltage.

2001 s10 will jump start. After it sits, I try to start it, it won't start, but the ignition keeps dinging after I turn it off and take the key out. I can jump start it and the dinging stops.

its sounds like a bad ignition switch-try to jiggle it and see if its stop after you have turned key off- also those dinging sounds are to warn you that you have left something on -usually headlights or maybe even your dome lights which would account for your battery dying

2003 gmc safari died in front of house. when I tried to start it, no dash lights came on. when tried to jump it off. cables started smoking. connections were correct. battery checked and is ok. I get...

Battery cables can corrode under the insulation. When the corrosion gets bad enough the engine wont start. You said that there was smoke. What was it coming from? Many of the jumper cables you can buy now are not big enough to support the amperage that a motor needs to start.

1992 toyota pickup won't start and battery won't charge

Sounds like your battery is just too dead, has enough juice to light up the system for a minute but cranking drains it and if it wont charge then deff fried, you could try removing the battery and starting the car with cables to confirm the starter still works. If a bettery is too dead then when you are jumping it, it takes to much of the power just trying to get through the battery.

sounds like there might a draw somewhere or else a bad alternator...and when you're driving, its not charging up your battery and you drive off the battery...when you turn you radio and accessories on, then it has no output...perhaps check for draw first, then check alternator.

2003 GMC Sierra died while driving down the highway

hi, the problem you are having sounds like an imobilser problem does your key have a fob that unlocks the doors etc check this is working if it is then the problem could be with the key itself as they are programmed so that if somebody used a different key in the ignition it wouldnt allow the car to start.
The only way of knowing for sure is by taking it to a main dealer because the imobilser problems wont show up on a diagnostics machine the main dealer will be able to test the key or fob for you they should test it for free but if it needs replacing then you will have to pay for this unless its a common fault if it is common problem with that make and model they will replace this for free.

im sorry their is no easy fix for this problem but it is more than likely your imobiliser if it was say something like starter motor your car wouldnt have cut off whilst running so it points to an imobiliser problem so get this checked.

Let me know how you get on or if you require further assistance ok

2005 GMC Canyon engine dies while im driving

Sounds like it may be a loose wire or connection that reacts at a firm bump. I'd check at the starter, and coil. Also check the battery ground at the body and block connections. Hope this will help. Best wishes.
