2004 Mazda Tribute / Ford Escape Transmission trouble ...

There is a Hose that comes off the Brake Booster and goes to the Crankcase Breather, this is how the Vacuum for the Brakes gets its ability to work. It is more than likely disconnected or the Valve is defective.

I would replace the engine and transmission mounts, they are hard and transmitting engine vibration to the chassis.

When it pulled you forward sounds like the throttle stuck. The clicking noise was probably starter or starter relay.

It seems the problem of a wheel, usually a roll, locate the sound and visit your mechanicto check your wheel

you have a vacuum leak
check all the vacuum hoses
if you don't have one then check the throttle body itself

mcdevito75 here, It could be a dirty gas filter, weak fuel pump, fulty needle valve in the carb. Have your local shop check it out., Also could be a wek timeing chain.

Sounds like it could possibly be a vaccume problem, the computer sees that the vaccume has a low pressure and thus fludding the engine, or visa versa, it's seeing too high of a pressure and cutting the fuel comsumption to a minumum enough to make the engine sputter and die.. Does this happen when the cars in Netural or Reverse or Park? Just Drive?

can 't you remove the coils insted of the intake ? It is much easier.
