pop and it went off. Also, the turn signal noise didn't work. The next day my battery was dead. But that was original . Now almost 2 months later, my radio and turn signals are doing the same thing. Oh, and my winshield washer doesn't work.

SOURCE: 2007 Chevy Equinox - with

believe it or not you need to take it to the dealer. There is a software reprogram for the remote control door lock receiver to fix the probelm - really common on tahoes and suburbans. Go to the dealer and tell them about bulletin #06-08-52-002g. It probably will need new remotes also. Try and get the dealer to warranty it since its a known product defect and a known problem

SOURCE: windshield wipers

You will need to replace the wiper motor. Most likely the circuit board is bad. You might check with your local chevy dealer and see if there is a recall on the wiper motor before you buy a new one, even if you are not the original owner the car the recall will still be done free of charge. Some chevy models did have a wiper recall. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Windshield wipers not parking

The problem could be a bent parking pall bracket. This is usually caused when you wipe snow from windshield using the wipers instead of brushing off. You need to remove both wipers and the cover from the drivers side. Remove the cover over the wiper motor assembly (held by a plastic button). On the right side of the wiper mechanism is a small tab (part of the wiper bracket). This tab needs to be straight for the wiper park pall to rest against.Carefully hammer this tab straight (or you may have to replace bracket, big job) Then cycle the wiper and you will see the assembly return to park position. Re-install all parts in reverse order.
Hope this works for you.

SOURCE: 99 Chevy Tahoe... Rear turn signals, brake lights, and hazards

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!

2007 chevy equinox, running lights are not working, fusses work fine, what else would be the problem?

The problem is your not familiar with electronic's on modern automobiles . Module controlled systems . BCM - body control modules .
The park lamps consist of the park, tail, marker and license lamps. These lamps are illuminated any time the headlamp switch is in the PARK, ON position, or anytime the body control module (BCM) illuminates the headlamps. The PARK fuse in the fuse block - instrument panel (I/P) supplies voltage to both the coil and switch input side of the park lamp relay. The BCM controls the park lamp relay by grounding the park lamp control circuit energizing the relay.

PCB Relays
This vehicle is equipped with the following PCB mounted relays. High Beam, Low Beam, DRL, Fog Lamp, Park Lamp, Stop Lamp, and Horn relay. They are directly soldered to the underhood fuseblock circuit board. A failure of one of these relays will require the whole underhood fuseblock to be replaced.

Your best bet have a qualified repair shop diagnose the problem . Could have DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes stored in the BCM For circuit faults .

--
When the headlamp switch is in the OFF position, the body control module (BCM) receives a ground signal through the headlamp switch OFF circuit and an open signal on the park lamp ON circuit. When the headlamp switch is in the PARK or HEAD position, the BCM receives an open signal through the headlamp switch OFF circuit and a ground signal through the park lamp ON circuit.

How did someone so easily steal my entire turn signal LAMP assembly from walmart parking lot? Sorry, I originally described it wrong. It was below the headlights outside the car, not inside

Hi Raymond:
What a strange thing to have happened.
I'm assuming that it was installed in the vehicle, so the thief would have had to:
1) Get access into the vehicle (hopefully the doors were locked)
2) Open the hood (latch release mechanism is inside the vehicle)
3) Disconnect the battery. (stops the horn from blowing)
4) Remove the steering wheel
5) Remove the turn signal assembly.
Sounds like a LOT of work to steal the part.
Very strange.

Where is the blinker relay in my 2011 Chevy Equinox.

PCB Relays
This vehicle is equipped with the following printed circuit board PCB mounted relays.
• High beam
• Low beam
• DRL
• Fog lamp
• Park lamp
• Stop lamp
• Horn relay
They are directly soldered to the underhood fuseblock circuit board. A failure of one of these relays will require the whole under hood fuse block to be replaced.

Turn Signal/Hazard Lamps
The body control module (BCM) is responsible for controlling the turn signals and hazard lamps. When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left turn or right turn position, the BCM receives a signal from the turn signal switch. The BCM then sends an on-off voltage signal to either the left or right turn signals and their instrument panel cluster (IPC) indicator. When the hazard switch is pressed, the BCM receives a signal from the hazard switch. The BCM then will send an on-off voltage signal to all the turn signal lamps. All the turn signal lamps will flash including both IPC turn signal indicators.

Vehicles are just not the same as they use to be. Electronics !!!!!

2006 chevy equinox lt can't get the key to turn. so the car won't start, stuck in park all-wheel drive so it won't tow or move out of the parking spot.

Turn the key while turning the wheel, either to left or right. "jiggleitalittleit'llopen" I had the same thing happen to our GMC safari, the steering wheel got locked. The wheel had turned sharply and it was jammed. I fiddled with it turning the wheel back and forth while trying to turn the key, eventually it popped loose. 'WHEW!' Good Luck!
