The main relay is located under dash(behind knee bolster) just left of steering column. it should be gray in color with one screw on the bracket. this relay is replaced often for quitting and no-start conditions. other problem for the same symptom is faulty distributor

I need the igniter location on my 1991 honda accord lx

Igniter and cam sensor are located inside the distributor, If the coil is at fault it may be a good idea to inspect the wiring/contacts as well as replace the housing body gasket to prevent water intrusion. Main relay is dash is a common no start problem, when it fails there is no power to the ecu.

1991 honda accord lx... i was driving it and it just stopped running,no prior performance problems,it seems it ran out of spark. i've got a new coil and checked electrical....i'm lost

not sure if it is the same thing that happened to mine but I have to replace the main relay, located under the dash. I was told the two main things that go wrong with our honda's is either the coil or the main relay. My coil was fine. Hope that helps you.
Have you ever had issues with your battery light flickering while braking, by chance? this is my other issue. I have replaced the alternator but still doing it. :) thanks.

1991 honda accord "no spark"

There is a relay mounted way up under the dash on the driver side. It is about 1"x1"x2" and it says Mitsuba on it. This is the PGMFI relay, sometimes called the main relay or fuel injection relay. It is very likely the problem. You can buy another one, or there was a bulletin on how to repair it. You need to take it out, pop the cover off, and resolder the cracked solder joints on the pc board that the relays are mounted on. Really not that hard if you have a little soldering experience. If not, just buy another one, about 50 bucks.cb28323.jpg

Fuel pump is not pump fuel after replaceing fuel pump

You need to replace the PGMFI relay up under the drivers side dash. It is sometimes called the main relay or the fuel injection relay. It is 1"x1"x2" and will have "mitsuba" written on the side. If you get it out, I can tell you how to fix it for free if you know how to solder, or you can by a new one at any auto parts store for about 50 bucks.

1991 honda accord lx

Hi....
The fuel Pump relay (main relay)
On your Honda Accord is located:
Left side of the dash, near left side of the steering column.
On direction under the Instrument cluster.
You will need to remove the Cruise control Module if your car is equipaded with cruise control.
The cruise control module is atached fro 2 screw 10mm.
One on the steering column the other one at the Instrument bracket.
After you remove the cruise computer, you will see the relay.
Is a little bigger that a regular relay colour gray.
And the number on the relay is : RZ0088.

I hope this help on your question.
Thank you for use fixya....
