Vibrating bmw m6!! - 2007 BMW M6 Coupe

  • Anonymous Apr 21, 2012

    My M6 is vibrating like a Ducati V-Twin all the time...
    Even at a standstill and 1000 rpm!
    And the higher revs, the more it vibrates..!
    Almost as if the exhaust is leaning against the chassi somewhere, but that was the first thing we excluded.
    I have also changed following parts;
    - all 10 sparkplugs
    - all 10 ignition modules.
    - The rubberhose for ventilation of the valve housing.

    From outside it sounds perfect, and have full power without any hick ups.
    And the diagnostic test shows no errors!
    So I'm now considering some kind of balance-problem somewhere...
    What could it be..?

Please state if its a auto or a manual ,need this information to tell you what to check but firstly check the front pulley and the rubber join in the middle take the fan belt off to do this

Testimonial: "Good idea! We are checking this out, before the flywheel operation! Sounds a lot cheaper..."

I have a 2006 BMW M6! this car will not start...changed starter, it started up! finished putting trim back together and NO START AGAIN! Help!

Take trim back off. See if start. If start, leave trim off. You may have one of those grounding trim cars where you put the trim on and it shorts the battery and then there's not enough electrical electrons to start the motor.

My m6 keeps overheating in slow traffic after a while.BMW have changed the fan twice but this has not solved the problem. Any advice?

if you run the a/c in slow traffic it will cause more heat in the engine bay then the car can ex spell if that is not the case try putting in a new thermostat and also when the thermostat is being replace have a very through cooling system flush done.hopefully this helps a bit.
