Can not find the right fuse

I added after market fog lights to my 2000 Montero sport. I must have blown a fuse. The dome lights and reading lights do not work now. I looked up the fuse (5 amp) in the oweners manual, but when I opened the fuse box (under the dash on the drivers side) it was not the same as listed in the manual nor can I find a location for the intera lights.

Thank you

I don't know if this will be the same as our 2003 Montero, but I saw this when looking for a solution to our problem and thought I would mention it. The fuse for the dome light in our Montero is in the fuse box under the hood, next to the battery. It also had a weird yellow box around that fuse and another. I finally figured out that if you pull up very ******* the yellow box around those two fuses that it will lift partially up and you can get the fuse out (had to use pliers to get a good enough grip to pull it up first time). If yours is the same, you'll understand when you see it.

Buddy hit the fog light button and the dashboard backlight went out, not sure if its a fuse or a light that needs changed or what, the car is a 2000 Saturn ls

It is probaly a fuse that blew, that would cause all the dash lights to not work, Are they factory installed frog lights or after market fog lights, If there after market fog lights you should have a relay hook up to the wireing for them, if you are not useing a relay with them when he hit the switch for them, It probaly over lopaded the circut, End thats what blew the fuse, Allso with after market fog lights Allso you should have a fuse connected into the hot wire going to the battery.

My dome lights just quit working. all of them, all at once. Also lost factory fog lights at the same time.

Your dome light and fog lights may be integrated to the same fuse, check the fuses at your kick panel for any open circuits (blown fuses). Also make sure no fuses are blown under the hood.
