Revs to high

I have a ford focus 1.8L V reg. when coming to a junction with the clutch down the revs will pick to about 1800 revs then drop back down to normal. The revs also jump up about 150 revs when the clutch is down and changing gear.

Hi, it is likely your clutch is slipping, perhaps because it has worn out or the springs have softened from heat. I'm afraid you will need a new clutch. :o(
