It started as every time i turn right then one day it just dies. but my friend later that day messed with the fuses in the car and it started up. i couldnt get it to start again. i started it up a few days later after messing with the wiring harness drove one mile and died again. now two weeks later started it again and got it to run for like five min went to rev it up then white smoke came out died again. it sounds like the pipes where drowning almost. some ppl say wire could be touching others say transmission fluid getting in there but its not low. then only fluid i noticed getting low besides the oil a tad is the power stearing and the lines dont connect in any way i belive.
Sounds like possibly a blown head gasket- that would explain the white smoke (usually an indication that coolant is being burned). . Do you mean the exhaust pipes sounded funny like drowning? If coolant is getting into the cylinders and being burned, some will not burn and get pushed in to the exhaust...
Pull the sparkplugs out and check for evidence of water or coolant. A compression test will verify if the head gasket is good or not.
Good luck.

Based on what you have supplied, It's probably not enough to go on, but if it is turning over and then dying straight away. It could be a compression issue. Perhaps you have a broken timing belt or timing chain.
If it isn't that and you think it's a power problem, then it could be something like a failing starter motor or Alternator.
A failing starter motor would cause the car to start sometimes but not always.(because the brushes inside will be wearing down).
And a failing alternator would be preventing your battery from recharging properly while the car is running.
I'm sorry, without more details on the problem I can't offer more advice that this.
All the best to you.

Check the fuel pump relay, it should be in the underhood fuse box, and could cause the problem your describing. Buy one at the parts store ( quite inexpensive) and try replacing it before going to the pump itself.

sometimes the flywheel will crack causing it to make an awful ticking noise and the van will stall out.
