Engine light is on and once or twice a day I am driving along and pressing on the accelerator and all of a sudden not getting any gas. Dangerous when crossing an intersection. Could the ELD sensor cause this? I have changed the oxygen sensor and the one before or after that one. Also the crank sensor & cataletic converter. Have any ideas??

both are located in the exhaust system. You have to get the car off the ground and follw pipes. You cant miss the O2 sensors.

Your timming belt has jumped a tooth.Remove the covers and check that all teeth are ok.Then tighten or change the timming belt.I would fit a new timming belt.Has it is costly when they fail.Good luck.pippall.

Check the main fuses under the hood. There are several large ones there. A loose connection on one of them could have caused the sudden, complete electrical failure you described. If it is a loose connection, it would certainly explain why it "came back to life" by itself.
Also, might you possibly have any sort of aftermarket security system that has an immobilizer feature on it? While I wouldn't expect this to disable the entire car including the radio, if it were incorrectly installed I suppose it could.
I hope this help. Good luck!
