You may need a different fuel tank to match the motor. You are going from a 1966 with no evaporator canister to a later model which has emissions. There surely is a way to do it. You should replace 1966 rubber fuel hoses because of corrosive fuel and high pressure compared to stock 1966 fuel pump.

You might find something you need at Carpenter restorations and they publish parts books.

2: hot core, yes. (water must flow and both tubes hot to core)
3: air flow through core, not. (fix cause, if blower is running on high
then the damper is closed.
do you need a drawing? the FSM covers that , all cars, factory service manual even shows every step, in diagnosis.
1990 is a toyota corolla. so books on that car , match too.. hint?

this is a cable car, so the cable must move the valve or the damper
open fully to get hot air

using 2 persons, make sure the valve works
and is not clogged inside. it.

Sounds like it has possibly got a defective multifunction switch,which is part of the turnsignal lever/high beam lever switch. Aside from physically diagnosing the circuit I would say replacing the multifunction switch may take care of your problem.

Most spark plugs are definitely preset for gap clearance. If you don't alter gap setting, factory plugs are ready from box to install.

This sounds like a bad alternator, its sounds like it sometimes charges and somtimes not, check the wiring to alternator and if all is good then repolace the alternator.this should be under warranty. i would ask them to just replace the alt. hope this helps.
