It sounds like you have a blown fuse or the switch is broke

I've checked every fuse in drivers side fuse panel and external, all are good. There is a circuit breaker 30amp in central fuse block I'm wondering if that might be the source. Passenger seat adjusts fine.

SOURCE: 02 GMC Denali front heated seats won't work

test to see if you have any power going through all the connectors for the seat heater, there may be a spot where there is a connector that has gone bad, or potentially it could be the whole element that is bad

Where is the on button to turn on the heated seats in a 2007 ford five hundred? I just got the car and I don't know where it is and I was told there was heated seats.

The heated seats are a luxury feature that heat the front seats. This provides maximum comfort for the driver and the front passenger. To turn on the heated seats, press the heated seat button, which is a picture of a seat. There are two of these buttons, and each are located on the center console. The button on the driver's side of the console controls the heat for the driver's seat, while the button on the passenger's side of the center console controls the heat for the passenger's seat. Pressing the heated seat button will turn the heated-seats onto their highest setting. Pressing the button a second time will lower the heated seats to their medium setting. Pressing the button a third time will result in the lowest setting. Pressing the button a fourth time will turn off the heated seats. There are three lights next to the heated seat buttons to indicate what setting the heated seats are on.
Tip
The heated seats will only work when the engine is running.

2007 SRX pedals, adjustable quit, front drivers seat and both heater switches All quit at same time what could have done this? Passenger power seat still works?

Electronic's ! drivers Power seat module , driver door module . Do you know anything about automotive electronic's ?

The heated seat module (MSM) controls heated seat operation for both the driver and passenger seats. There are 2 modes of operation available for heated seats; both the seat cushion and seat back heat, or seat back only heat. When a heated seat temperature signal request is received, the MSM will activate both the seat cushion and seat back heating elements. When the heated seat BACK ONLY mode button is pressed once the MSM will deactivate the seat cushion heating element and leave the seat back heating element ON.
The adjustable pedal system is controlled by the memory seat module (MSM).
your best bet , have a qualified repair shop check it out ! Could have DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in door module , BCM etc...

The front seats for our 2003 Escalade will not move forward or backward and the heat control for the front seats will not work.

Does your Escalade have memory seats ?
There are 2 options of power seat systems available in full size trucks. The 6 way driver and passenger power seats, and 8 way driver and passenger power seats with driver memory. For the driver memory seat operation refer to Memory Seats Description and Operation . Power seats without memory are completely controlled through the power seat switch. Battery voltage is supplied to the power seat switch through the power seat circuit breaker. While the seat adjuster switches are in an inactive state the switch contacts are closed to the power seat switch ground circuit. When a power seat switch is pressed to an active state the switch contact is closed to the battery voltage supply circuit. Each seat adjuster motor is controlled by the power seat switch through 2 motor control circuits. The seat adjuster motors are bidirectional and the direction of adjuster motor rotation is determined by which of the adjuster motor control circuits is switched to battery voltage while the other remains grounded.

2003 chevy avalanche heated seats wont stay on

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom s described in this PI. Condition Concern Driver and passenger heated seats inoperative or shut off in 30 seconds. There will be DTCs B2435, B2440, B3606 and or B1825 set in the Drivers Seat Module. The adjustable pedal position sensor, seat recliner position sensor and both heat seat thermistors share the same 5 volt reference internal to the Drivers Seat Module. A fault in any of these components circuits can make the heated seats inoperative or shut off in 30 seconds, as well as, the seat recliner and/or adjustment pedals may move in short increments when operated. A fault in heated seats, adjustable pedal or seat recliner will affect BOTH heated seats. Note Even if the vehicle is not equipped with adjustable pedals DTC B3606 still may set.Recommendation/Instructions To help isolate the area of concern use the Tech 2 and go to Sensor Data in the Drivers Seat Module. Monitor the following parameters for being out of range Recline Position Normal range .39V 4.58V Pedal Position if equipped Normal range .39V 4.58V Psgr. Seat Heat Sensor- Normal range 1V-4V Drvr. Seat Heat Sensor Normal range 1V 4V If a parameter is found to be out of range inspect circuits for any opens, shorts to ground, or voltage. If none found replace the suspect component Please be aware of the following common areas of concern The adjustable pedal position sensor internally shorted pulling the 5 volt reference low. Disconnect the adjustable pedal position sensor and see if the heated seats start working correctly, if so replace.Note Important The APP accelerator Pedal Position sensor is NOT the adjustable pedal position sensor. Make sure the correct sensor, adjustable pedal position sensor, is disconnected. The seat recliner position sensor internally shorted pulling the 5 volt reference low. Disconnect the recliner position sensor and see if heated seats start working correctly, if so replace. An open in either heated seat thermistor circuits signal or low reference The most common is the passenger thermistor where it passes through seat connector C305 pin L or K or C399 pins R or G A chaff to ground on either heated seat thermistor signal circuits. The most common is circuit 5475 black red or dark blue shorted to ground in the passenger seat near the buckle.Note Important The heated seat thermistors act differently to OPENS and SHORTS than the adjustable pedal position sensor and seat recliner position sensor. The adjustable pedals and seat recliner sensors can be disconnected for testing of the heated seats. Where as the heated seat thermistor circuit must be working correctly before EITHER heated seat will operate. Disconnecting one thermistor, which may have a concern will not allow the opposite heated seat to work correctly, BOTH side must be operational before EITHER heated seat will perate.Clearing DTCs If DTCs will not clear when using the Tech 2 after a repair has been made, try operating the device in which the repair was made. Example, if a repair was made to the passenger heated seat thermistor circuit, the DTCs may not clear unless the passenger heated seat is operated. Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a do it urselfer. I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado. The heated seat on the drivers side does not work. When you push the button to turn it on, the lights come on briefly then turn off.

Would you say it stays on about 30 seconds and does the passenger side do the same thing? If possible retrieving the codes will narrow down the search for a correct solution. If the passenger side is ok we may be able to eliminate the passenger side as bring part of the problem. Please advise so will know which way to go with your solution.

Condition/Concern:
Driver and passenger heated seats inoperative or shut off in 30 seconds. There will be DTCs B2435, B2440, B3606 and/or B1825 set in the Drivers Seat Module. The adjustable pedal position sensor, seat recliner position sensor and both heat seat thermistors share the same 5 volt reference internal to the Drivers Seat Module. A fault in any of these components/circuits can make the heated seats inoperative or shut off in 30 seconds, as well as, the seat recliner and/or adjustment pedals may move in short increments when operated. A fault in heated seats, adjustable pedal or seat recliner will affect BOTH heated seats.
Note:: Even if the vehicle is not equipped with adjustable pedals DTC B3606 still may set.

To help isolate the area of concern use the Tech 2 or a comparable scanner and go to "Sensor Data" in the Drivers Seat Module. Monitor the following parameters for being out of range:
Recline Position- Normal range .39V-4.58V
Pedal Position (if equipped) - Normal range .39V-4.58V
Psgr. Seat Heat Sensor- Normal range 1V-4V
Drvr. Seat Heat Sensor- Normal range 1V-4V
If a parameter is found to be out of range inspect circuits for any opens, shorts to ground, or voltage. If none found replace the suspect component.

Please be aware of the following common areas of concern:
  1. The adjustable pedal position sensor internally shorted pulling the 5 volt reference low. Disconnect the adjustable pedal position sensor and see if the heated seats start working correctly, if so replace. Note Important:: The APP (Accelerator Pedal Position) sensor is NOT the adjustable pedal position sensor. Make sure the correct sensor, adjustable pedal position sensor, is disconnected.
  2. The seat recliner position sensor internally shorted pulling the 5 volt reference low. Disconnect the recliner position sensor and see if heated seats start working correctly, if so replace.
  3. An open in either heated seat thermistor circuits (signal or low reference). The most common is the passenger thermistor where it passes through seat connector C305 pin "L" or "K" or C399 pins "R" or "G".
  4. A chaff to ground on either heated seat thermistor signal circuits. The most common is circuit 5475 black/red or dark blue shorted to ground in the passenger seat near the buckle. Note Important:: The heated seat thermistors act differently to "OPENS and SHORTS" than the adjustable pedal position sensor and seat recliner position sensor. The adjustable pedals and seat recliner sensors can be disconnected for testing of the heated seats. Where as the heated seat thermistor circuit must be working correctly before EITHER heated seat will operate. Disconnecting one thermistor, which may have a concern will not allow the opposite heated seat to work correctly, BOTH side must be operational before EITHER heated seat will operate.
Clearing DTCs
If DTCs will not clear when using the Tech 2 or comaparable scanner after a repair has been made, try operating the device in which the repair was made. Example, if a repair was made to the passenger heated seat thermistor circuit, the DTCs may not clear unless the passenger heated seat is operated.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.

FRONT HEATED SEATS

you need to check the resistance in each of the heated seat elements in the seat. There's a two wire connector under the back of each front seat. The connector should be green. disconnect it and measure the resistance along the circuit going into the seat. if it isnt .1 - .3 ohms, replace the appropriate heated seat element

I have a 04 yukon both front heated seats come on for 10-30 sec than go off both started at the same time so i dont think its in the seats its self (HEATING WIRES) any help would be great

See GM TSB 05-08-143-001, If you have Adjustable pedals, especially if they don't work with the memeory buttons, but function with thier own buttons. Its the Brake Pedal Position Sensor is shorted and messing up the seat module which controls the heaters too. My 05 Suburban had the same issue. Can check by unplugging sensor and see if heated seats work .
