It is low battery voltage. It's a common problem with late model falcons, being more demanding on battery voltage. The original batteries were only warranted for 12 months and were not really up to the task. Your best solution is replace it with a good quality higher capacity battery, around the 600CCA range. This is also true for the bf falcons. Generally when the battery is starting to die you will get airbag errors popping up for a few weeks then after a while it will immobilise.
Do you have another key you can try, maybe the anti theft key immobilizer.
Just sounds like a flat battery error.. check ur battery voltage if its less then 12.4 chances are it wont crank but may make clicking sounds.Try a boost/jump start (note: u will need good quality jump leads)
My Ford Falcon 2012 EcoLPI didn't start showing "Vehicle Immobilised" in the notification panel. It tried to crank continuously but didn't start. I thought this a bigger problem. But after seeing this post connected the battery charger to the battery and found it was at the bottom bar. After a while, it reached two bars and I tried to start, attempted and the battery bars disappeared in the charger. So it was sure to be a dead battery. Replaced the battery with a new one and Bingo! it started as normally did.
Probably failed seal or air bag leaking air. Check again and try to see if this will do the trick. Sometimes pvc line could fail to deliver air to the bag too!

soundsa like the starter or the fender mounted solioid is malfunctioning. Does anytrhing clich as you turn the key to start? If theirs no click at all you might look and the starter relay ( solioid) it's located near the battery and it has the positive battery cable connected to it. Also notice the most common no start is the battery cables aren't making good connection to the battery or the battry is too low as it may be low on charge. Have the battry tested or if handy to do see if it starts normally with jumper cables connected to a running car. If it starts just fine the battery or the charging system needs to be looked into. it it tris to start and crnks slowly and makes bad noises the starter is likly bad. If it had been starting just fine and this happened all the sudden the cables connected to the battery or the battery failing are the most likly.

look in the right front passengers footwell, behind the side cover,, your switch should be there, just push the reset,, but if the light comes right back on, your going to have another problem that needs to be addressed, after 1990 they were auto reset as far as the light, Once everything checks out in the system
