I replaced fuel filter, air filter, battery. My trouble is cranking and usually takes awhile to start but today it would not start. It usuallly will not start after sitting awhile. If its close together no problems just after sitting for some time. I havent replaced my plugs, wires, cap, button for some time. I am not sure what i should do next. If someone can explain the process of what i should do. I know a lil mechanic stuff but not a professional. please help
The basics, make sure battery has a full charge. If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also check fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes? Your obd1, you should be able to check some codes, yourself.
You can try cycling the key on and off several times before you crank it, when problem is ongoing, if that helps, I think it's a fuel issue.
