My reverse lights went out as well on my 98. There is a sensor that engages the backup lights when the car is put in reverse. It is located under the battery and it is a pain to get to, but we were able to locate it and correct the sensor where it would engage the reverse lights. This is likely the cause of your problem as well. You will probably need a dodge neon repair manual if you don't have one, if you want to locate the sensor yourself, or better yet, just let a mechanic pull the battery and do all the boring stuff for you. I would suspect the charges would be nominal. As far as your instrument panel, that happened to me as well. I pulled the dash off and removed the entire instrument panel and cleaned all the connections with electrical contact cleaner, available at auto parts store. This corrected my problems with the instrument panel. I can also highly recommend not whacking your dashboard when your instrument panel doesn't work, as it can cause your car to completely shut off! Learned that one the hard way! Hope this helps.

Vw electrical problems

every time you disconnect the battery you cause a program corruption in the CPU. Fix the battery drain ( have a load test done on the battery as it may have a dead cell) Then use a code reader to reset the CPU and go from there.

just look for the blackened/burned pin on the rear light plastic connector and sand it down to re-establish a good electrical connection and save yourself $800 big ones on replacing the multiswitch.

brake fluid RARELY needs flushed. i personally have never done it to any vehicle. sticking caliper sounds more like an issue than fluid or yes it could be the hub bearing causing excessive drag on that wheel

Just had brakes done 2 weeks ago, now my abs/brake lights are on and blower fan will not work?

For the ABS light, bring it back to the place that did the work. May have damaged the sensor or not connected it back up. The blower fan is a seperate issue. If you have manual controls, not auto climate controls, try replacing your blower resistor module. The resistor is a very common thing to go out in TB's and Envoys.
