I had to change out my whole steering column there is a trick to make your car recongnize it...turn your key on but dont turn over leave on for up to ten min the theft light will go out when it does turn off car count to five then repeat this two more times. after the third time you turn off and count to five then turn the car on and turn over should start right up

Yes there is a bypass. Costs about $200.00. You should be able to put the key close enough to the cylinder to get the security to go off. I don't know what you did to get the cylinder out. but there is a chip mounted to the steering column. once the key is close enough to it it will let the car start. If you broke the chip getting the cylinder out then you have some money to put out to get it running.

It can disable the starter and/or the injectors/fuel. There are ways to bypass these systems. You can do it yourself too. Ive personally done dozens of these bypasses, and they work great. Good luck
