The heater hose that goes from the radiator to the firewall is leaking at a connector. I don't know what this part is called to get a replacement part. It looks like some sort of a valve because several hoses are connected to it. It is a black metal, and I can see several small cracks where coolant is leaking.
Part you are referring to is your heater control valve. They generally develop small leaks where the actuator arm goes into the assembly. They are generally in the $30 dollar range and can easily be replaced.Don't forget to "top off colant level after repair!

The connector on my 1994 Jeep Country (4.0L) is a black plastic part with several male connections for 5/8" hoses that carry the coolant. The top male connection point is broken and has fused inside the hose. The connector must be replaced and I am advised that the part is a dealer order only.
