Thank you for your follow up. I fixed my problem by finding a hard working mechanic, not a dealership. When I got 3 estimates on replacing the PCV and the Fuel Filter on my 2003 Nissan, there was a $59 difference between the high and low bid. Obviously took the low. Thanks again! Postit2

The PCV valve connects the crankcase to the intake manifold from a location more-or-less opposite the breather connection. Translation - The PCV valve on your engine is threaded into the intake manifold.
Sorry I can't find a picture to show you.

The PCV filter is not in the air cleaner assembly body but rather in the lid. Remove the lid from the vehicle and turn it upside down. There you will see an almost triangular compartment with a grey plastic case that houses the fiber element. Look at the side of this compartment and in the small hole to see a small part of the grey plastic case that serves as the clip to secure it in the compartment. Insert your little finger into the hole and push on this small grey clip while lifting the case out. Remove the fiber element from the case and replace with new.
