I have a buick regal that starts and runs great until it hits operating tempature the car will die and won't re-start until it cools down Changed the mass air flow sensor about a year ago and I know this isnt the problem .. Any help out in cyberspace would be greatly appricated.

The crank sensor is located on the side of crankshaft damper/pulley it mounted on a bracket. However it think that you may have a map-sensor problem that's very common with this vehicle. The crank sensor is not hard to change at all. Good Luck get back in contact if you need more help

Remove it and clean with some carb cleaner and a Q tip. Be careful with it so you don't do any damage. 9 of 10 times this will get you running again! Since signal from there is variable low voltage, you cant really bypass it!

ya could be a bad filter. or maybe your injectors are getting bad.

Changed the crank sensor & the fuel purge cannister, vaccum lines temp sensor , thermostat ,Radiator , I turned the key, the car started right up car ran to operating temp and I noticed the temp gauge then the temg gauge went all the way down reading cold , Car wouldn't re-start until it cooled down .
