2000 Range Rover Radio blinking TELEPHONE when trying to turn off. My radio stopped working for awhile, then all of a sudden when I turned it on, it said WAIT... I put in the codes and it is now work

My radio stopped working for awhile. When I turned it on yesterday, it said WAIT and I put in the CODE afterwards. I cannot turn off the radio. It keeps blinking TELEPHONE when pushing the off button. When this happens, I cannot turn it back on either. There is no telephone in the car. Thanks for any help. I tried to search for it, but couldn't find anyone else having the same issue.

SOURCE: radio unlock code for 1998 land rover discovery

Give the dealership your VIN# and they will in turn provide you with an 'unlock' code. Input the code and you should have radio. If not, you will need to remove the radio and give the dealer the chassis # found on the case.

SOURCE: 2005 Range Rover HSE - Random Radio / CD Problems

I have an 05 hse with the same issue, prought it to an electrical specialist who went in the boot and unkinked the infrared wires from all components, it worked for about a month and a few days ago it started again, when you say you "deoxed" the bluetooth harness....do you mean the nokia brain in the left rear boot or the cell phone dock in the front center console??? I have an appointment with the dealership tommorow and i hope they find the WIRING issue instead of trying to have me buy $5000 in new computers that wont fix the problem, its a common issue in this model with the logic 7 just wish someone who has already cleared this hurdle would post a solution:(...I will keep everyone updated

SOURCE: 2003 range rover HSE...radio used to turn on and

if the radio is not working then it's the Radio module located on the rear (tail) on the left. you need to replace that to have your radio back to normal. but before that try to remover the fuse and fix it back as sometimes it gets stuck internally..the fuse located in the glove box. open the led and read which fuse for the radio

SOURCE: RADIO CODES FOR A 2003 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY

It is usually listed in the top section of repair invoices from a dealership.
If you still cannot get the code. there are many sites on the internet that can
supply the code for a fee.

My 2003 range rover won't start radio come on lights work but the center moniter says code any ideas

No idea here to be honest i think you have two seperate problems here so firstly try entering the radio code as i think you have disconnected the battery ,now as for the non starting then look in the book that came with the vehicle and their should be a code for the key to reprogramme the immobilisor where you turn the key in the lock so many times to the left and right to release it and only these vehicles have this except some rovers which are now defunct as you no doubt know .

I replaced my 2001 Range Rover battery and my radio stopped working. I have the code but no option to put in the code. Please let me know the steps.

most of radio need time to back to re-program , keep radio On for 40 mint or more this depend on how many time you try before , when it's on don't touch it until screan dislay (0000,) then you can re- prog. some moudle have buttom (prog. or search) after re-prog. most if you keep on for awhile it will come back by it self in programing .
