This is ok, you just need to know which wires to connect together. The installation manual should tell you.

Can i have the wire diagram for my car radio Dave

Dave, although you didn't say, i'm assuming you want to put a new radio in your car? If so, you can go into Best Buy and maybe other electronics suppliers and buy a wiring harness for your car. Your original car radio had a plug that allowed it to be easily plugged into the cars wiring harness. When you get a new car radio you can then buy a "plug" for your car that you wire to your new radio basically matching the color of the wires on your radio, to the wire of the same color on the plug you bought. Then you can easily plug your new radio into the cars harness. Hope that helps!

Im trying to put an xovision XOD1752BT in my 2005 ford focus and the wires in back of radio aint the same colors on the2005 ford focus can you tell me what color wires go on what color wires.

Hopefully you have not cut off the factory radio plug. Go to any store that sells car audio and buy the adapter harness for your car. The wire colors will then match up.

I hava a ford tape deck i want to install it in my car but i dont want to blow it cause i don t know which wire is hot

Red is usually hot in 12 volt. Black in 110 volt. !2 volt tester is only about a buck at the dollar store. Turn ignition key to ON and test wire. The colors you test from present tape/radio should match the unit you are installing. If you still have doubts, buy a couple of 12v inline fuses and attach them to any wires you are playing with. They are cheap. Black is usually ground in 12v. Other colors usually relate to speakers.

The color of the wires from my old and new radio dont match up!?

Jags are definitely a pure breed. The new radio most likely has writing on the wires that tell where they are to be connected to. I take that back. I just checked the wiring of an older model JVC unit and there or not listings. If your radios doesn't have writing just remember Orange(or yellow) is illumination, and it goes to the fuse block; red is power, going to the fuse block; the big black one is the ant.; the little one is the ground to the chassis. The others are speakers. Connect them to the colors they are closely resembling in your Jag. Connect the power and turn on your radio. You can reconnect the lines to the correct speaker by checking each speaker. hope this helps.

I am changing my head unit and i dont know what color wires go to what on the stock one

The auto and radio Dons have blessed us with a universal color code for all vehicles-that I've noted in all the systems that I've changed. If you're swapping out the stock Chrysler system you'll need to go to Walmart-or a store that sells audio equipment-to buy the Dodge/chrysler/jeep adapter. You connect it to the factory connect and splice the same colors to the radio. Most times the wire have the speaker it goes to written on it. If you have already cut the connector off and can't reconnect the wires, just match up the wires with the matching colors. Hope this helps.
