I have the same problem, it just started this morning....front defroster won't work, rear defroster works but not the front. I have a 2003 Dodge Durango with 52,000 miles.

I have the same problem, I don't understand how this can be a blend door problem as blower does not operate at all using front cntrol only comes on using back control

Did anyone having this issue fix it with the "blend door" suggestion?

Same problem - rear works, not the front. Pulled the resistor cover off, full of water. Shorts out after using the carwash. Boise Dodge dealer had for 2 days, couldn't find a problem, but still doesn't work!

The blower is the same for front and rear. you have a blend door problem look by your feet on drivers side just under dash there is a slide mechanism that breaks.

2003 Dodge Dakota is stuck on defrost, only blowing hot air. A/C will not turn in, mirror defrost will not turn on. Just replaced blower motor resistor to fix fan not coming on. Fan is working.

Can you measure and VOLTAGE across the resistor?

Here is a GREAT Link (in my estimation):

Yes it's for a DURANGO but the process may help you!

I have an 2001 Dodge Durango and the turn signal and hazards light are not even blinking on the dash board or outside. The heat blows out but only on high it was working on low and med but now its only on...

The turn signals issue is most likely a fuse or the flasher. The blower issue is a bad blower motor resistor. As far as your running problem if you mean no start no lights, ect check your battery and alternator.

2001 Dodge Durango - My rear heat/air blower only works on High speed?

Verify the fuse for that feature at fuse box. Replace the selector or control switch.

99 Dodge durango heater not working

The blowers ion the back have there own blower motor. The front has it's own. The resister controls the range the blower motor runs on,( low, medium, high). If the blower motor is not working it may be the motor itself. Was the fuse checked:?

Hvac blower will not turn on

Could be the switch or the blower motor itself went out.
