My 2003 Toyota Camry AC often starts blowing hot air and the AC light starts blinking. I don't know why the following process works, but it does. Using the temp selector (left) reduce the temperature all the way down to Max Cold and then push the Auto button. It will start blowing out very cold air. After a little while push the temp selector to the desired temperature.

SOURCE: 2004 escalade ac problem

I had the same problem. Took it to an AC guy and they told me it was going to cost $1,400 to replace all kinds of parts. I didn't get it done right away because I went on vacation. When I got back from vacation the air blows cold. It hasn't gone back to blowing hot since.

1991 toyota camry a/c button light flashing. no cold air.

When these lights flash it means there is a problem with the AC system, that can be a low charge and that is the most common issue.

When I turn on the A/C the light will blink, compared to normally staying on solid and not blinking. The A/C blows out hot air now. What is the problem?

Well, this is telling you ,the ac needs attention, first guess,is,that the freon is to low for the ac to come on,or it is empty of freon, have the ac checked, and then make sure they put in u-v-dye to detect the leak when it does leak down again. If this was helpful,at all, please rate, thank you.

A/c light blinks

The only problem with your air conditioning light blinking in the 4runner is a bad relay. Toyota has updated the relay to part #90987-02028. Call your local Toyota dealership for this relay. You can buy it at the parts counter. It is about $65. It takes 1 minute to replace. This is the first thing you should do to troubleshoot the AC blinking light. I had the exact same problem with my 2003 4runner and this relay resolved my issue. This same procedure is for the Camry and other Toyota models with the same blinking AC light, but the relay part number might differ.
