I doubt it's a MAF issue. But you can try unplugging it with engine off. When it's unplugged the computer will run off factory defaults. Far more likely you've got another blown fuse or a blown fusible link.

well, with all that you have changed the only two possible things that are left PCM and the ECM....

Do you have an alarm system on this vehicle? If you purchased this car second hand it may have something that is inhibiting the engine from firing. From what you have told us here that would be where I would start looking.

I really hope this is helpfull

SOURCE: No spark?

Hi, common thing with the mazda was the coil or the ignition amplifier going faulty, both of which are located within the distributor, the coil ususally gives the symptoms you describe, a weak spark. The coil is the most common failure aswell for your vehicle i would recommend a new one, also make sure distributor is spinning as it could just be a case of a broken timing belt.

Good luck Davelee

Be sure to check all the fuses with an ohm meter or circuit tester. If no blown fuses, check for power in and out of the electrical connection on the ignition switch. Do the headlights or dome lights work? If so, it is not a battery issue but, an electronic issue. It could be the engine control module, but check all the basics first.

Ok well I put in a brand new starter because my crank sensor keeps blowing and thinking I fixed the problem long behold I keep blowing my crank fuse when I try starting the truck I don't know wear to start

No, year make or model. But if you blow the crank fuse, it is between the starter and the ignition switch. Could be the switch, but most likely the wire. At the relay there are four pins. 30 is B+ all the time, 87 is to the starter. 85 and 86 can be switched. But one is B+ with the key in start position, the other goes to the ECM, this would be ground.. Since you're blowing the fuse, you need to find the short to ground. this would be the 85 and 86 wires.

Mazda 323 1985 runs fine when cold after the car heats up it will randomly die. Just cuts out completely. Won't start straight away but after 30sec it will start like nothing was wrong. Then it will...

This is going to be tough to fix. Chances are its a relay or the ignition module, but until it gets to where it will not start for several minutes or not at all, you won't know if you have fixed it or not.
Something is getting hot, cooling off, then getting hot again.

Starter won't start on 86 buick regal FI 3.8 L already replaced starter & verified all fuses ??

i finally fixed this one.apparently the theft prevention system was no longer able to measure the resistor in my key. That thing that everyone refers to as a "chip" in the key is only a resistor, one of like 10 or 12 std values that computer is set to recognize. measured key res with meter, cut wires running to ign key contacts that read key and inserted a res = res meas on key.problem solved, theft prevention perm. bypassed! read somewhere the only ones this system prevents from starting car is the owner when it starts malfunctioning......how true

1997 mazda 626 won't start.

Are the plugs wet with fuel?
Check for spark. No spark? it may be the ignition module.

Plugs dry and spark present? No fuel?Spray a little starting fluid and see if it will run on that.
Then check pump fuses and for fuel pump noise.
