I did an engine swap on my car from a reg. honda engine auto trans. to v-tec manuel trans. and changed out most of the harnest to make the car work . The battery light stays on and when i drive it it makes a clicking noise sounds like its coming from the computer and then the check engine light comes on and the rpm gauge shuts of and if i try and press the gas the car jerks a little so i have to push the clutch shut the key and turn it back on well the car is still moving and the it works good again the rpm comes back on the check engine comes off but battery light stays on

You might have to change the spark plugs or at least have them cleaned.

yes..sir you must take your car to the nearst Honda Service Station and ask to the mechanic there to check the transmission and replace the clutch with new one. don't forget to check and maybe change all oil that have connected with your transmission. all work maybe take 1 or 2 days depend on the part that you need to change

The starter sit on top I belive on the passenger side above the transmission, have some one hold the key to start while you tap or even hit the starter some time it will crank over if it does replace it, not that big of a job. If it still dont start there a big wire that one comes from the battery and a small one that come from you ignition switch ( key ) jump those two wire's ( if stander transmission make sure you have it out of gear ) there should be voltage at big wire all the time, if it still dont crank over replace starter assembly.Hope this was very helpful.
Testimonial: "Replaced the starter this weekend as recommended, now the car starts just fine. Getting the old starter out was a lot more of a pain than I thought (probably just my lack of knowledge/experience) but the replacement starter went in with very few issues. As stated in other posts, any DIYer can replace a starter with just a little patience and save some $$$."

Hi,
The check engine light comes on mostly when you have bad gas tank cup,or you don't tight enough the gasoline.Go to any auto-zone and request the obd scanner,at no charge just leave your driver license or credit card, connect the scanner follow the instructions. They will check up and the check engine light will come off in the next 3 to 5 days.
Thank you !!
